Happy Holidays from the Changes Salon Team!

Our salon will be closed from December 24, 2025 – January 2, 2026 so our team can enjoy the holidays and recharge for an amazing year ahead.

We’ll return on Friday, January 2, 2026 with our 2026 Vision Session — kicking off the year stronger than ever! The salon reopens for guests on January 3rd, 2026!

In another exciting contest, the Chagrin Valley Chamber of Commerce Festival of Trees is now on display along the park by the river. Be sure to visit and look for our stunning Angel Tree, beautifully decorated by our owner, Wendy Haverlack, for the second year in a row!

The very first year Wendy entered, we won, and we would truly appreciate your support again this year. Our tree features a graceful golden angel with flowing white hair—she’s truly a sight to behold.

👑✨ Introducing Our Window Wonderland Entry: Sleigh Queen! ✨👑

We’re beyond excited to unveil our magical holiday window, Sleigh Queen, created by our very own Daniela, our incredibly talented Operations Director and in-house artist! From concept to completion, this stunning display took 17 hours of creativity, detail, and pure holiday magic to bring to life! Her inspiration? A fun, festive blend of what we do best—slay hair—with a clever holiday twist on the Sleigh Queen theme. Because around here, the only thing colder than the weather is our cool holiday style. 💁‍♀️❄️

While we may not be hosting the sleigh rides ourselves, our wonderful landlord Donna Murphy is making the holiday magic happen right in front of our store—and we’re thrilled to be facilitating the tickets!

✨ At Changes Salon, it’s never just about hair — it’s about growing with you. ✨

We’ve had the joy of watching this beautiful mother-daughter duo through every chapter… from school dances, homecomings and prom, to graduations, weddings, and everything in between.

Mom visits us every six weeks for her color and cut, while daughter pops in every few months — but every time they walk through our doors, it feels like welcoming back family. 💛

As hairstylists, we don’t just style hair — we celebrate milestones, share life updates, wipe happy tears, and carry years of trust and connection. These are the relationships that make our salon more than a salon… they make it a home.

✨ Big Announcement from Changes Salon ✨

We’re thrilled to introduce OPI IntelliGel — a newer generation of gel that’s free from the controversial ingredient TPO and Hema.

🔍 Why does this matter?
• As of September 1, Europe has banned the use of TPO in gel nail products due to reproductive toxicity concerns seen in animal studies — including effects on fertility and testicular health.
• Regulators classified TPO as a “Category 1B” chemical (suspected to be toxic to reproduction) in the EU, prompting the ban.
• While human data is limited (most studies are animal-based), Europe chose a cautious path.

Because of this shift, we’re getting ahead: we’re beginning with a curated selection of ~12 OPI classic shades, now formulated in the IntelliGel line (TPO-free). As we move forward, we’ll be transitioning all of our gel services to OPI IntelliGel.

• The same beloved OPI shades, now cleaner and safer
• Long-lasting wear, high shine, and performance
• A commitment to health-forward, future-ready services
